Private Lessons
Private lessons are the most effective way for advanced junior golfers to take their game to the next level. With one-on-one instruction, each session is fully tailored to the student’s individual goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Whether the focus is on swing mechanics, short game performance, course management, or tournament preparation, personalized coaching allows juniors to make faster and more meaningful progress.
Cost: Private lessons starting at $70
Semi-Private Lessons
A 30 minute semi-private lesson for two people with PGA Director of Instruction Patrick Ackerman.
His teaching style focuses on adapting to each player’s natural swing, physical limitations, and goals, helping students make steady and lasting improvement.
An additional $10 fee is included for the second person.
Clubs can be provided if you don’t already have them, and Patrick can also help guide you toward the right equipment when the time comes.

On Course Lessons
On-course 3, 6, or 9 hole lessons with Patrick provide a unique opportunity to learn the game in a real playing environment. These sessions focus on course strategy, shot selection, and decision making while helping golfers better understand how to manage different situations they encounter during a round.
Playing alongside an experienced instructor allows students to gain valuable insight into club selection, reading lies, navigating hazards, and developing a smarter approach to each hole. These lessons are also a great way to build confidence and learn how to turn practice skills into better on-course performance.

Beginners Clinic
Our Beginner’s Golf Clinic at Snohomish Valley Golf Center is the perfect introduction to the game. Designed specifically for new golfers, this clinic focuses on building confidence, learning the fundamentals, and helping players feel comfortable on the range and eventually on the course.
During each session, participants will receive simple, easy-to-understand instruction from a PGA Professional who will guide you through the basic skills needed to get started in golf. You’ll learn essential fundamentals such as grip, stance, alignment, and swing basics.

Designed for kids and teens of different ages and ability levels, this weekly program provides a fun, structured environment where junior players can learn the fundamentals of golf while staying active and engaged.

This two day Spring Break Camp is a popular event featuring four hours of instruction covering all aspects of the game, including full swing, putting, and chipping. ALL skill levels are welcome. Signup early to reserve your spot today!

Weekly Summer Junior Camps are fun for all skill levels and include six hours of instruction covering all aspects of the game. Half the time is spent on full-swing and half on short game. Fun games, competitions, and connection with our coaches create a great experience at SVGC with all the resources needed!
Ages: 6 - 10 - Time: 10am - 12pm
Ages: 10 - 16 - Time: 1pm - 3pm
Cost: $180 per Kid for all three days.
I enjoy teaching kids and am a U.S. Kids Certified Coach with more than five years of experience working with The First Tee of Greater Seattle. I’ve led and grown junior golf programs at Glendale Country Club, White Horse Golf Club, Puetz Golf, and most recently here at Snohomish Valley Golf Center. Born and raised in Snohomish, WA, I’m passionate about growing the game by giving back to the same community where I learned to play.
