Junior Golf

Golf is a lifelong sport that can be enjoyed with friends and family of all ages. Its benefits go far beyond the course—discipline, patience, problem-solving, and confidence are all life skills that young golfers carry with them every day.

Why Junior Golf?

SVGC is designed with families in mind, making it the ideal learning environment for young players. With our TopTracer-equipped driving range, dedicated short-game area, and fun mini-golf course, juniors have everything they need to develop every part of their game in one place.

Why Junior Golf at SVGC?

Learning core fundamentals starting with grip, stance, and aim. We create a safe, fun environment through games and proper etiquette. Instruction time is split between the driving range, where direction and ball control are the focus, and the short-game area, where juniors learn essential putting and chipping skills.

Entry Learning

Covers all entry level fundamentals with an emphasis on one-on-one swing development. We focus on building a proper finish, adding speed, and growing confidence. Juniors take on competitive challenges and use TopTracer to prepare for on course play. No prior experience is required.

Intermediate Learning

At this age, private lessons are typically the most effective, often taken with PGA Head Professional Patrick Ackerman. Every junior has unique swing needs and individual goals, whether it’s making a high school team, preparing for college golf, or simply gaining confidence to play with family. Personalized instruction ensures each player gets exactly what they need to grow.

Located in the scenic farmland of the Snohomish River Valley, the Snohomish Valley Golf Center is a family-owned golf facility that has become a popular destination for golfers and families throughout Snohomish County. Since opening in 2001, the golf center has grown from a simple practice range into a full recreational golf facility offering modern technology, instruction, and entertainment for players of all skill levels.
